RLM in pictures

I was going to post all of the real life moments I’ve posted so far but I think I’ll just post the pictures of those moments.
What I would like to do, if I can remember, is post them here everyone I post them on my Facebook page. We’ll see how well I remember 😉

Anyway, here are my real life moments pictures so far. Hope you enjoy!

This one is my lastest: kiddos getting along & playing sweetly together (last night)

These two were taken while having lunch with a friend. Sometimes you allow your child to use a game piece as a spoon. And then take another picture because she makes a cute face.

Blessed to have friends who make you pumpkin bread!

I don’t always make homemade, organic, homegrown meals….sometimes I let Gerber do the hard work for me 😉

Embracing the frumpy pants on a cold day!

image

Treating myself to ice cream for ending the day with the house still standing and everyone still alive!

image

You know you have awesome friends when they hook you up with this much deer meat!

image

Totally ok to let your toddler get messy while she eats lunch!

Letting the kiddos ear breakfast on trays while watching The sandlot.

This was my first real life moment post. This is how many clothes we found in our truck when we cleaned it out. 2 loads of laundry worth!

This is only the beginning and I hope this let’s other people know that real life happens to all of us everyday and instead of trying to cover it up, we should embrass it! Stop trying to be super mom and just be a real mom 🙂

Real life moments

I know I’ve been gone for months now! Life has been super busy and, to be honest, have been at a loss for words or I wasn’t sure how to put my thoughts into words that made sense.

But I think that streak is over….at least for now 😉

The first Friday of November was the first moms group that my church held and it was awesome! We did a craft, heard some great & wise words, and shared. Our speaker shared something that has started to turn inside me and  now sharing with others on Facebook. I will get a copy of this asap!

What I have started on my personal page is share pictures and/thoughts that are my real life moments. So many of us just share the rainbows and sunshine on Facebook. There’s nothing wrong with sharing the great things that are going on in our lives but it does make it a tad bit harder to connect with others if we aren’t sharing the not so great moments.

I have a friend who actually shared her real life moment today! I’m so proud of her because I know it’s not easy and it opens the door to so much judgement from others. Keep sharing those moments!

I’ll make a separate post with everything I’ve shared already, probably will get that up tonight.

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that it’s ok to share those real life moments, you aren’t the only one going through these moments!

I’m calling you out!

Or rather I want you to call me out.
Yes you read that right.

I want to be held accountable for my words and actions. I don’t just want to talk about what I believe, I want to do what I believe.

It’s so easy to let my emotions get the best of me and let other people back me up & say that I’m justified in my actions/words. But that doesn’t always mean I’m right in those words/actions.

If I am wanting to live my life as a Christ follower than I need to do what He says. It doesn’t mean that I’ll like or that it’ll be comfortable, but it does mean that I’ll be living by His rules. I have to do what the world thinks is odd, weird, and (sometimes) wrong.
I’m ok with that.

I’m ok with people thinking I’m weird. I’m ok with people thinking I’m doing something for nothing. I’m ok with people mocking me because of this choice. I’m ok with people trying to tear my down because of this choice.

I will mess up. I will fail. I will be wrong. I’m ok with all that.

Here’s where you come in!

If I say or do something & it’s questionable whether or not it’s Christ like, please point it out. Bring it to my attention.

If you hear something from someone about me & it sounds questionable, come to me about it. Make sure what you heard was correct. If it is correct & its ify, call me on it.

Will my feelings get hurt this?
Yes.

Will I loose people in my life over this choice?
It’s possible though I don’t want that to happen.

Will I gain friends from this choice?
It’s possible and would be wonderful.

Will I learn something from this?
Absolutely!

I’m serious about this guys. I want to be better with my walk and how I represent God.
Contact me in whatever way you are comfortable with. Let me know that what I said/did maybe wasn’t the way that the Bible says I should have. If you aren’t familiar with the Bible, that’s ok, still question me. Don’t be afraid to say something in fear of hurting my feelings. I would rather my feelings be hurt from the truth than be just fine from you holding back.

I’m ready for this to happen and really hope & pray that y’all call me out.
I also pray that all other Christ followers will open the door to have others call you out too.
We can’t grow if we are corrected.

2 Peter 3:8-14

I’m back!!!!

Hello there fans & readers! I am back!
I asked for input if anyone was interested in still reading this blog if I started up again…all I was looking for was one person to say yes & I got a few more than that. Which I am happy about!! I have said it before and I will say it again…I didn’t start and\or continue this blog for numbers. I will try to make more of an effort to post blogs about my MommieVentures! With #5 on the way and the craziness that comes along with having 4 already…there are definitely no shortages in stories that I have (& will have) to share with you all!

Before I go any further though, I would like to send out my apologizes to the winners of the Jelly Knife giveaway! I still have the knifes & I will send them out as soon as I can…..life as just been seriously way busier than I ever thought it could be! I have not forgotten about you or the prizes that you have won!

I hope that the old fans\readers come back around & that we have new ones that show up! Thanks again for all the support and love that you all have given me since day one 🙂

Thanks loves 🙂

Motherhood with Attitude

No matter your attitude, we all have one….good, bad, ugly, indifferent, whatever you want to call it!
This company is making light of Motherhood! They have cards, mugs, notepads, and more with real life kids (with pictures that their parents have submitted) and add the funniest captions!

I received two of each card + envelopes

This was my favorite card!

The outside saying.

The inside saying.

When I received my package from them and I opened up the box and started reading the cards, I just started busted out laughing! I can honestly say that most, if not all, of the captions on the cards I could relate to! Then I went on their website and started looking at all the other sayings that they had….it was like they had followed me around and took notes on what I was experiencing lol! And the pictures they use are just as funny, if not funnier, then the captions!

Jannalee & Tiffany are both mothers & both have a love for what they do….Jannalee is the writer & Tiffany is the artist for the cards.
Here is what each one has to say about what they do:
Jannalee-I hope that my writing shares the real experience. If we can’t be honest about this, then our kids have won!
Tiffany-Since I became a mother, I have been disappointed by the lack of creative and supportive products for moms. I can’t take one more fluffy duck or teddy bear! My goal is to create something that moms can relate to — something that feels fun and slightly messy. Because, let’s face it, through all the joy and frustration, motherhood is wonderfully messy.

I haven’t been able to send out any of the actual cards that I received…yet, but as I was looking around on their site again, I completely forgot that you can send e-cards! I jumped on that and sent out a few to some friends in hopes that it brighten their day, let them know they aren’t alone, and just made them laugh. I have received some great feed back from these!
Friend 1- You made my day!
Friend 2-I did get it and it really made my day! Lol With {insert husbands name} being injured and really lazy 😉 this was the pick me up I needed. I giggled at where this card should be filed
(Will add more feedback as I get it & All these e-cards that where sent out can be found on their site)

All kidding aside though – they also support a great cause! A portion of all profits made by MA! go to ‘A Mother’s Wings,’ a nonprofit organization for women facing post-partum depression. Which I think is great because I have (and probably to some point) still suffer from. I think that it’s awesome that they do this because it seems like people just glide through this topic…you have heard of it but not many people talk about it. Glad to see a company is bringing light to this topic and helping to raise awareness & donating to this! Way to go MA!

Like what you see? Want to purchase some of their items? Want to send an e-card? You can even submit a funny, crazy, or interesting picture to them & have a chance to have your picture used in the future! I submitted one of my youngest child (fingers crossed).  They always have a great link of their page called ‘Diaper Hunt’….you could win a great grand prize! Click here to learn more about this!
Whatever you are interested in, please head over to their website and check everything out! I hope you enjoy looking & reading what these two Mother’s have thought of…I just simply love it!!!!

*I received this product at no charge to me & all opinions expressed are my own*

Breathing Room

Wow! First off let me say that I am sorry that it has been a few days. I feel like everything is moving so quickly now!

Let me update you! My husband and I are looking to move about an hour North of where we are now within the next 30-60 days because we are just in a neighborhood that is becoming more and more unsafe! I have companies getting in touch with me wanting to do giveaways and product reviews (YAY!). Trying to figure out what I can pack now and what to pack later. School will be starting in about a month. Family coming into town this weekend! Sometimes I feel like my head is spinning and I cannot get a hold on things. I know that things will calm down and I know in the end, what we are doing will benefit our family. Plus if we get one of the homes that we are hoping to get-there is an opportunity for my husband to get a much better job! So that is exciting!

So if I am not posting as much-please bare with me as I am trying to juggle everything all at once!

Thanks! 🙂 Happy Monday!
